    Good evening. Ladies and Gentlemen:
    Tri-City Motorcycle Club sincerely thanks
you for your hearty approval of these fine
race meets, and so long as you approve of
them, and old man Weather favors us, we
will continue to hold these fine events.
Last week we promised you some inside
dope about how these riders condition them-
selves. You must realize by now they are
not weak sisters in any sense of the word,
when a rider can fall off and get up and con-
tinue as these boys sometimes do.
Almost without exception these boys ride a
motorcycle each and every day. In the Fall
and Winter season they participate in the
most gruelling sport of all—Endurance Runs.
At every opportunity they are out riding the
back trails over mountains, through mud,
rain and snow. This kind of riding is the real
secret behind their skill and endurance.
Then, too, these boys take good care of
themselves. They eat plenty of good whole-
some food, their drinking is far below aver-
age, and after their respective day's work
they get plenty of rest. We are proud of .our
boys and so was Uncle Sam during the last
emergency. Give them a big hand, folks,
and come to the pits after the show. You are
    always welcome.
    TRI-CITY MOTORCYCLE CLUB,
    SHORTY CALHOON, President.
    Good Luck to the Gang
