ug. It is unmarked, so I don't know what brand/model horn it is from.
I'm actually not entirely sure if it is for an alto, or tenor either. At first glance it would appear to be tenor sized, but since there is no 'step' on the exterior (it is basically a cylinder) I tend to think that it is designed to go over the top of the saxophone's neck receiver (ie. for a horn that has a dual wall neck tenon, such as a Conn 6M). In this case it would be too small for a tenor
If anyone reading this knows what it is for, please let me know.
The outer diameter is 28.15mm, and the inner diameter is 26.10mm. The total length is 46.05mm. It is in excellent used condition. It has not been bent out of round. There are no dings. The lacquer shows normal wear from bouncing around in a case for years.
